Inter Milan manager, Simeone Inzaghi, has bemoaned his team’s luck after they lost 1-0 in the Champions League final on Saturday.
Rodri scored the only goal of the game in Istanbul, as City finally won the trophy.
Inter were looking to win it for the first time since 2010 when they lifted it under Jose Mourinho.
However, they lost out narrowly to City and are left to live with disappointment.
“This is football – it’s from these disappointments that you grow. I’m still wondering how it was possible that we didn’t score at the end. We clearly deserved more.
“This final could be the fuel to try again next season. The team demonstrated they can play at this level. We had plenty of chances at the end, we deserved more. This was our gameplan and we could have done even better,” Inzaghi told BT Sport.
